(Z)-Methyl 2-(1,3-dithian-2-ylidene)-4-(triphenylstannyl)but-3-enoate

Abstract: In the title compound, [Sn(C₆H₅)₃(C₉H₁₁O₂S₂)], the coordination geometry around the Sn atom is tetrahedral, involving three C atoms from three phenyl groups and one C atom from a methyl 2-(1,3-dithian-2-ylidene)but-3-enoate group. The conformation of the heterocyclic ring is twist-boat.
