Aquabis(5-chlorosalicylato-O)(1,10-phenanthroline-²N,N')zinc(II)

Abstract: In the title complex, [Zn(C₇H₄ClO₃)₂(C₁₂H₈N₂)(H₂O)], the Zn atom is coordinated by two 5-chlorosalicylate anions, one 1,10-phenanthroline molecule and one water molecule, displaying a distorted trigonal-bipyramidal geometry. The crystal structure is stabilized by intra- and intermolecular O-HO hydrogen bonds.
