Abstract: In the title mononuclear nickel(II) complex, [Ni(C₁₈H₂₁N₂O)(NCS)], the Ni^II atom is four-coordinated by the phenolate O, imine N and amine N atoms of the Schiff base ligand, and by the terminal N atom of a thiocyanate anion in a square-planar geometry.
