Abstract: In the title mononuclear nickel(II) complex, [Ni(C₁₇H₁₉N₂O₂)(NCS)], the Ni^II atom is four-coordinated by the phenolate O, imine N and amine N atoms of one Schiff base ligand, and by the terminal N atom of a thiocyanate ligand, forming a square-planar geometry.
