O]bis[3-(4-carboxyphenoxy)propionic acid-
O]bis(pyridine-
N)cobalt(II)Abstract: The title complex, [Co(C10H9O5)2(C10H10O5)2(C5H5N)2], is a neutral mononuclear complex. The CoII atom, which lies on a centre of symmetry, has a distorted octahedral geometry involving two O atoms of the 3-(4-carboxyphenoxy)propionate groups, two O atoms of the 3-(4-carboxyphenoxy)propionic acid groups and two N atoms of two pyridine ligands. A two-dimensional supramolecular structure is constructed via

interactions [centroid-to-centroid distance 3.589 (3) Å] and hydrogen-bonding interactions.
