Abstract: The title compound, C24H26N2O7, is an intermediate in the resolution of a tertiary alcohol using a chiral isocyanate reagent. On the basis of the unchanging S configuration of the chiral C atom introduced by the isocyanate reagent, the chiral centre on the tricyclo ring system is shown to adopt an S configuration. In the crystal structure, N-H
O hydrogen bonds link the molecules into chains.
