Abstract: In the title compound, C₆H₆AsBrO₃, the As-O bond lengths are normal. Intermolecular O-HO hydrogen bonds with OO distances of 2.600 (2) and 2.627 (2) Å link the molecules into two-dimensional layers parallel to bc plane.
