Abstract: In the title complex, [NiCl(C24H40BN6)], the Ni atom is coordinated by three N atoms, with the typical facial arrangement imposed by trispyrazolylborate ligands, and a chloride ligand in a distorted tetrahedral geometry. A structure of the title complex was previously reported in a lower symmetry space group [Santi, Romano, Sommazzi, Grande, Bianchini & Mantovani (2005). J. Mol. Catal. A: Chem. 229, 191-197].
