-acetato-
8O:O'-bis[(4-vinylpyridine-
N)copper(II)](Cu-Cu)Abstract: The title compound, [Cu2(C2H3O2)4(C7H7N)2], consists of centrosymmetric dinuclear units, in which four acetate groups bridge the two Cu atoms and a 4-vinylpyridine neutral ligand occupies the axial position of each Cu atom, coordinated to it through the pyridine N atom. Each Cu atom has a distorted octahedral coordination. Weak C-H
O interactions contribute to the crystal packing stability.
