5-(4-Fluorophenyl)-2,6-dioxo-2,3,6,7,8,9-hexahydro-1H,5H-imidazo[1,2-a]quinoline-4-carbonitrile

Abstract: In the molecule of the title compound, C₁₈H₁₄FN₃O₂, the imidazole and dihydropyridine rings are nearly coplanar with a dihedral angle of 2.46 (3)°, while the cyclohexene ring has an envelope conformation. The benzene ring is oriented with respect to the coplanar ring system at a dihedral angle of 81.45 (2)°. In the crystal structure, intermolecular N-HN hydrogen bonds link the molecules into dimers.
