Tris(N-acetylglycinato-²O,O')triaquaterbium(III)

Abstract: The title complex, [Tb(C₄H₆NO₃)₃(H₂O)₃], was prepared by reacting terbium carbonate with N-acetylglycine in aqueous medium. The Tb^III atom is coordinated by nine O atoms, six of them belonging to the three carboxylate groups of the ligands and three to the water molecules. The molecule lies on a threefold rotation axis.
