Abstract: The title compound, C₂₉H₁₈Br₂O, crystallizes as black-violet plates. The molecule displays a paddle-wheel conformation and the crystal packing is stabilized by C-H (C-H distances in the range 2.7-2.9 Å) and C-HBr contacts.
