Abstract: The title compound, [Ni₂(C₁₄H₈N₂O₄)(C₅H₅N)₆]C₁₄H₁₂N₂O₄, is composed of the complex [Ni₂(C₁₄H₈N₂O₄)(C₅H₅N)₆] and a free ligand. Each nickel(II) coordination environment in the complex exhibits a distorted octahedral geometry. The dinuclear complex is centrosymmetric. The complex molecules are linked into one-dimensional chains via intermolecular O-HO hydrogen bonds.
