Abstract: The molecule of the title compound, C₄₂H₄₄N₂S₂, is centrosymmetric. Thus, an asymmetric unit comprises half of the molecule. The torsion angle of the C-CC-C backbone is -165.6 (4)°. The crystal packing is dominated by van der Waals interactions.
