Abstract: In the title compound, C₄H₁₂N⁺·C₉H₁₃NO₃P^-·CHCl₃, there are two independent formula units in the asymmetric unit. In the crystal structure, intermolecular N-HO hydrogen bonds form two independent one-dimensional chains along the a axis.
