Diaquabis(saccharinato-N)copper(II)

Abstract: In the title compound, [Cu(C₇H₄NO₃S)₂(H₂O)₂], the Cu^II atom lies on a crystallographic inversion centre and is in a square-planar coordination geometry. The saccharinate ligand is essentially planar and the crystal structure is stabilized by intermolecular O-HO and C-HO interactions.
