(Oxalato-²O,O')bis(propane-1,3-diamine-²N,N')chromium(III) chloride monohydrate

Abstract: The asymmetric unit of the title monohydrated salt, [Cr(C₂O₄)(C₃H₁₀N₂)₂]Cl·H₂O, contains two formula units. The Cr atom is chelated by the oxalate dianions in an octahedral geometry. Hydrogen bonds involving the N atoms of the ligands, the O atoms of the oxalate group, the chloride anion and the solvent water molecule connect the components into a three-dimensional network structure.
