Abstract: In the crystal structure of the title compound, poly[di-![[mu]](/logos/entities/mu_rmgif.gif)
2-aqua-di-5-oxalato-4-oxalato-disodiumdimanganese(II)], [Na2Mn2(C2O4)3(H2O)2]n, one of the oxalate ions lies on an inversion centre. The Mn atom is six-coordinate and Na is seven-coordinate; two of the oxalate ions bridge in a 5 mode and the third in a 4 mode. The Mn atoms are bridged into a ladder motif; neighbouring ladders are bridged by the water molecules and Na atoms into a three-dimensional network structure. Water-oxalate hydrogen bonds exist in the structure.
