[1,2-Bis(phenylseleno)benzene]dichloridopalladium(II)

Abstract: In the title compound, [PdCl₂{1,2-C₆H₄(SePh)₂}], the two Cl atoms and the two Se atoms are arranged in a square-planar fashion around the Pd atom. The two phenyl groups are on the same side of the PdCl₂Se₂ plane. Intermolecular interactions between the Cl and Se atoms are suggested [SeCl = 3.4003 (4) and 3.4101 (4) Å].
