cis-Dichloridobis(diethylphenylphosphine-P)platinum(II)

Abstract: In the title compound, [PtCl₂(C₁₀H₁₅P)₂], the Pt atom adopts a slightly distorted square-planar geometry. The phenyl rings form dihedral angles of 82.21 (11) and 79.98 (11)° with the PtCl₂P₂ mean plane. The crystal structure is stabilized by weak intra- and intermolecular C-HCl hydrogen bonds.
