2-{[4-(Trimethylstannylthio)phenylimino]methyl}phenol

Abstract: The mononuclear Schiff base compound C₁₆H₁₉NOSSn or [(CH₃)₃Sn(SC₆H₄-4-N=C(H)C₆H₄-OH-2)] features a slightly distorted C₃S tetrahedral geometry for Sn. The mean planes of the two benzene rings make a dihedral angle of 41.8 (2)°, indicating nonplanarity of the molecule.
