Ethyl (9-oxo-9,10-dihydroacridin-10-yl)acetate

Abstract: In the crystal structure of the title compound, C17H15NO3, molecules related by a center of symmetry are arranged in pairs that are stabilized via [pi]-[pi] interactions between the acridinone units. Adjacent pairs, with the acridinone rings arranged in a herringbone pattern, are linked through a network of [pi]-[pi] and C-H...O interactions.
