Abstract: In the title mononuclear CuI complex, C38H33CuBrN4O4P or [CuBr(C18H15P)(C9H7NO2)2(C2H4N2)], the CuI ion is coordinated by two imine N atoms of a Schiff base ligand, a Br- anion and a PPh3 ligand in a distorted tetrahedral geometry. The N-Cu-N angle is only 82.15 (7)°, but the Br-Cu-P angle is 114.54 (4)°.
