Abstract: In the title complex, [Al(CH₃)₂(C₂₃H₂₃N₂)], a mononuclear Schiff base dimethylaluminium complex, the Al atom is four-coordinated by two N atoms from one Schiff base ligand and by the C atoms of the two methyl substituents. The Al atom exhibits a distorted tetrahedral coordination geometry.
