Hexaaquacadmium(II) bis{[1-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-1H-tetrazol-5-ylsulfanyl]acetate}

Abstract: In the title complex, [Cd(H₂O)₆](C₉H₇N₄O₃S)₂, the metal center is six-coordinate, forming an ideal centrosymmetric octahedral geometry. A three-dimensional supramolecular architecture is formed through hydrogen-bonding (O-HO) and offset - stacking interactions (distance between pairs of adjacent benzene rings = 3.532 Å and centroid-to-centroid separation = 3.672 Å).
