Abstract: In the title complex, [Fe2(C15H16N4O)2]·2H2O, two ferrocene units are bridged by two Schiff base linkers. This molecule lies on an inversion centre, and the asymmetric unit also contains a solvent water molecule. In the crystal structure, complexes and water molecules are connected through weak N-H
O, O-H
O, O-H
N and N-H
N hydrogen bonds.
