Abstract: The title compound, [Pt(CO₃)(C₁₈H₁₅P)₂]·0.5C₆H₆·0.5CH₂Cl₂, is isotructural with the analogous tetrahydrofuran [Gregg, Powell & Sawyer (1988). Acta Cryst. C44, 43-46] and benzene monosolvates [Scholz, Lerner & Bolte (2006). Acta Cryst. E62, m312-m313]. The Pt atom shows a distorted square-planar coordination.
