Abstract: In the title compound, [Cu(C₁₆H₁₆N₄)₂](ClO₄)₂, the Cu^II atom lies on an inversion centre and has a distorted square-planar geometry. In each ligand, the dihedral angle between the triazole and pyridine rings is 9.1 (3)°, and that between the triazole and benzene rings is 85.01 (14)°.
