(2-Amino-4,5-dimethylbenzenesulfonato-N)aquabis(triphenylphosphine-P)silver(I)

Abstract: The title compound, [Ag(C₈H₁₀NO₃S)(C₁₈H₁₅P)₂(H₂O)], has a mononuclear structure, where the Ag^I cation is four-coordinated by two triphenylphosphine ligands, one water molecule and the N atom of a 2-amino-4,5-dimethylbenzenesulfonate anion in a distorted tetrahedral AgP₂NO arrangement. A network of N-HO and O-HO hydrogen bonds helps to consolidate the packing.
