2N,N')(3,5-dinitro-2-oxidobenzoato-
2O,O')nickel(II)Abstract: In the mononuclear title complex, [Ni(C7H2N2O7)(C4H8N2O2)(H2O)], the nickel(II) ion is five-coordinated in a distorted square-pyramidal geometry by two N atoms from a dimethylglyoxime molecule, two O atoms from a 2-oxido-3,5-dinitrobenzoate anion and one O atom from a water molecule. Strong hydrogen bonds connect discrete adjacent molecules, forming a ribbon parallel to the b axis.
