{4-Bromo-2-[2-(ethylamino)ethyliminomethyl]phenolato-³N,N',O}(thiocyanato-N)copper(II)

Abstract: In the title compound, [Cu(C₁₁H₁₄BrN₂O)(NCS)], the Cu atom is four-coordinated by the NNO donor set of the Schiff base ligand and by the terminal N atom of the thiocyanate anion, forming a square-planar geometry. An N-HS hydrogen bond helps to establish the packing.
