The central Cu atom adopts a distorted tetrahedral CuCl4 geometry. The terminal Cu atom is five-coordinated in a distorted square-pyramidal coordination environment consisting of three N atoms of the ligand, one bridging Cl atom and one terminal Cl atom. Intermolecular C-H
Cl hydrogen bonds help to establish the packing.
