In the title compound, [Cu(C3H2N3O2)2(H2O)2], the CuII atom (site symmetry \overline{1}) is coordinated by two N,O-bidentate 1H-1,2,4-triazole-3-carboxy­ate anions and two water mol­ecules in a distorted trans-CuN2O4 octahedral arrangement. In the crystal structure, mol­ecules are linked by inter­molecular N—H...O and O—H...O hydrogen bonds.
