Aqua(oxydiacetato-³O,O',O'')(pyridine-2-carboxamide-²N¹,O)copper(II)

Abstract: The title compound, [Cu(C₄H₆O₅)(C₆H₂N₂O)(H₂O)], has a six-coordinate Cu^II atom in a Jahn-Teller-distorted octahedral environment, coordinated by a tridentate oxydiacetate dianion, a bidentate pyridine-2-carboxamide ligand and a water molecule. The oxydiacetate chelates the Cu^II atom in a facial configuration.
