N3)[(2-oxidobenzylideneamino)methanesulfonato-
2N,O]zinc(II)Abstract: The ZnII ion in the title complex, [Zn(C9H4NO4S)(C3H4N2)2], is coordinated by an N atom and an O atom of a deprotonated tridentate Schiff base ligand, and two N atoms from two different imidazole ligands in a distorted tetrahedral geometry. In the crystal structure, molecules are connected via intermolecular N-H
O hydrogen bonds, forming extended one-dimensional chains along [111].
