Bis(pyridine-2-methanol-²N,O]bis(thiocyanato-N)cobalt(II)

Abstract: The Co^II ion in the title complex, [Co(NCS)₂(C₆H₇NO)₂], lies on a crystallographic twofold axis and is in a slightly distorted octahedral coordination environment. In the crystal structure, intermolecular O-HS hydrogen bonds link molecules to form a two-dimensional network perpendicular to the c axis.
