3-acetylenedicarboxylato-
4O,O':O'':O''')(1,10-phenanthroline-
2N,N')cadmium(II)]Abstract: In the title complex, [Cd(C4O4)(C10H8N2)]n, the Cd atom exists in a trigonal-prismatic geometry that is defined by the two N atoms of a 1,10-phenanthroline ligand and the four carboxylate O atoms of two different acetylenedicarboxylate dianions. Adjacent Cd atoms are bridged by acetylenedicarboxylate dianions, giving rise to a two-dimensional structure parallel to (100).
