[5,10,15,20-Tetrakis(2,6-dimethoxyphenyl)porphyrinato]zinc(II) dichloromethane tetrasolvate

Abstract: The crystal structure, electronic spectroscopy and ¹H NMR data for the title compound, [Zn(C₅₂H₄₄N₄O₈)]·4CH₂Cl₂, are reported. The asymmetric unit consists of 0.5 zinc-porphyrin and two molecules of dichloromethane. The zinc ion is at a crystallographic inversion center and is four-coordinate with a planar porphyrin ligand.
