Abstract: The title compound, [Sn(CH₃)₂(C₆H₃BrNO₂)₂], possesses an infinite chain structure owing to the presence of Sn-N bridges between adjacent molecules. The SnO₄NC₂ centre has a distorted pentagonal-bipyramidal geometry with the C atoms in the axial positions.
