(E)-1,2-Bis(3-bromo-4-methylphenyl)ethene

Abstract: In the structure of the title compound, C₁₆H₁₄Br₂, the central C=C bond length is 1.329 (4) Å and the two benzene rings are approximately coplanar with the double bond, with twist angles of 7.5 (2) and 13.6 (2)°.
