Abstract: The erbium(III) atom in the title compound, [Er(C₅H₂N₂O₄)(C₅H₃N₂O₄)(C₁₂H₈N₂)₂]·2H₂O, is located on a twofold rotation axis and chelated by two 1,10-phenanthroline heterocycles as well as by a 2,4-dihydroxypyrimidine-5-carboxylate monoanion and a 2,4-dihydroxypyrimidine-5-carboxylate dianion in a square-antiprismatic coordination geometry.
