2N,N')erbium(III) dihydrateAbstract: The erbium(III) atom in the title compound, [Er(C5H2N2O4)(C5H3N2O4)(C12H8N2)2]·2H2O, is located on a twofold rotation axis and chelated by two 1,10-phenanthroline heterocycles as well as by a 2,4-dihydroxypyrimidine-5-carboxylate monoanion and a 2,4-dihydroxypyrimidine-5-carboxylate dianion in a square-antiprismatic coordination geometry.
