Dichlorido[(S)-(1-phenylethyl)(2-pyridylmethyl)amine-²N,N']zinc(II)

Abstract: In the title compound, [ZnCl₂(C₁₄H₁₆N₂)], the Zn^II atom is coordinated by two N atoms and two Cl atoms in an approximately tetrahedral arrangement. The dihedral angle between the N-Zn-N and Cl-Zn-Cl planes is 88.06 (8)°. The H atoms on the chiral C atom and the adjacent N atom have an anti conformation.
