Abstract: In the crystal structure of the title compound, C₉H₂₀NO⁺·Cl₃CCOO^-, the cations and anions are connected via O-HO, N-HO, O-HCl and N-HCl hydrogen bonding. The six-membered ring adopts a chair conformation with the hydroxyl group in an equatorial position.
