Abstract: The title compound, C₁₇H₁₈BrN₃OS, is an important intermediate for the synthesis of biologically active heterocyclic compounds. The thiourea group is approximately planar. The crystal structure is stabilized by intermolecular N-HO hydrogen-bonding interactions.
