Bis(S-benzylisothiouronium) tetrachloridozincate(II)

Abstract: The asymmetric unit of the title compound, (C₈H₁₁N₂S)₂[ZnCl₄], contains two S-benzylisothiouronium cations which differ in the C-C-S-C torsion angle [165.3 (2) and 81.9 (2)°] and a tetrahedral tetrachloridozincate anion. The crystal structure is stabilized by N-HCl, C-HCl and C-HS interactions.
