Abstract: In the title molecule, C₁₂H₁₁NO₄, the two acetyl groups are inclined by 71.3 (1) and 46.2 (1)° to the benzene ring. In the crystal structure, molecules are linked into a chain along the c axis by C-HO hydrogen bonds.
