Abstract: The title compound, C₁₂H₁₅Cl₂NO, was synthesized as an intermediate for the synthesis of the herbicide Acetochlor. The crystal structure exhibits weak intermolecular C-HO hydrogen bonds, which link the molecules into zigzag chains along the b axis.
