Abstract: The title compound, C₇H₅BrClNO₂, crystallizes with two independent molecules in the asymmetric unit. In the absence of classical intermolecular interactions, the crystal structure exhibits relatively short intermolecular BrO distances [3.143 (9) and 3.162 (9)Å].
