(E)-Methyl 2-[4-(dimethylamino)benzylidene]hydrazinecarboxylate at 123 K

Abstract: The approximately planar molecule of the title compound, C₁₁H₁₅N₃O₂, is in an E configuration with respect to the N=C double bond. An intermolecular N-HO hydrogen bond links the molecules into a one-dimensional chain propagating in the [010] direction.
