Abstract: In the title complex, [ZnCl₂(C₈H₇N₃O₂)₂], the Zn^II atom is coordinated by two chloride ions and two N atoms in a distorted tetrahedral coordination environment. In the crystal structure, molecules are linked by intermolecular C-HO and O-HO hydrogen bonds, forming a three-dimensional network.
